# Writes off an invoice

`PUT /finance/v0-nsfw/invoice-actions/{id}/write-off`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.apaleo.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.apaleo.com/finance/v0-nsfw/invoice-actions/{id}/write-off`

  - Implicit: `https://identity.apaleo.com/connect/authorize`
  - Scopes: `invoices.manage`, `admin`

Marks the invoice as `Write Off` so that the amount of such invoice is removed from the unpaid invoices.<br>You must have this scope: 'invoices.manage'.<br>For fine-grained clients, you must have this permission: 'core.invoice_actions.write_off'.

- WriteOffInvoiceRequest
  - `reason` string, required: The reason why the open amount of the invoice is written off

## Response `204`

Invoice written off.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request.
- `401`: You are unauthorized.
- `403`: Forbidden.
- `404`: The Request-URI could not be found.
- `415`: Unsupported media type.
- `422`: Validation errors in the request body or query params.
- `499`: Client closed request.
- `500`: An unexpected error occurred.
- `503`: The server is currently unavailable. Please try later.
