# Assign a specific unit to a reservation.

`PUT /booking/v1/reservation-actions/{id}/assign-unit/{unitId}`

## Request

Assigns a specific unit to a reservation which is in state 'Confirmed' or 'InHouse'.
If the unit is not available, the call will return an error, and no unit will be assigned.<br>You must have at least one of these scopes: 'reservations.assign-unit, reservations.manage'.<br>For fine-grained clients, you must have this permission: 'core.reservations.modify'.

Unit assignment was successful.

    - `unitGroupId` string, nullable: The unit group id

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request.
- `401`: You are unauthorized.
- `403`: Forbidden.
- `404`: The Request-URI could not be found.
- `422`: Validation errors in the request body or query params.
- `499`: Client closed request.
- `500`: An unexpected error occurred.
- `503`: The server is currently unavailable. Please try later.
