# Get asset permissions

`GET /api/v1/permissions/{assetId}`

Retrieves permissions for a specific asset by its identifier (inode or identifier). Returns asset metadata, a paginated list of roles with their permission levels, and pagination information. Supports all permissionable asset types including hosts, folders, contentlets, templates, containers, categories, links, and rules.
