# Test Handoff Connection

`POST /core/handoff/connections/{connection_id}/test`

## Request

Check that a connection's credentials still authenticate.

Reads the row through ``api.get_handoff_connection`` (the only path carrying the
token) and issues one read-only provider call. Returns ``{ok, status, detail}``;
a vendor outage or a rejected credential is a body, not an exception.

- `connection_id` string, required

- `x-anyreach-org` string, nullable: Organization ID for user PATs (pat_ prefix tokens)
