# Create Email Address

`POST /core/email-addresses`

## Headers

- `x-anyreach-org` string, nullable: Organization ID for user PATs (pat_ prefix tokens)

## Request body

- EmailAddressCreateRequest: Create an inbound email routing address.
  - `address` string, required: Inbound mailbox address
  - `provider` string: Email provider
  - `agent_id` string, nullable: Agent to answer this address (its latest published version is resolved). Alternative to inbound_agent_version_id.
  - `inbound_agent_version_id` string, nullable: Agent version that answers mail to this address
  - `outbound_from_address` string, nullable: Verified sender used for replies (defaults to address)
  - `enabled` boolean: Serve the agent on this address
  - `handler` 'agent' | 'demo': What answers this address. 'agent' routes mail to an agent version; 'demo' builds a demo agent from the company URL in the mail and emails the requester when it's live.
  - `handler_config` DemoHandlerConfig: ``email_addresses.handler_config`` for a ``handler = 'demo'`` address. Stored as jsonb, so every field needs a default — an address created before a field existed must still resolve.
    - `include_phone_number` boolean: Purchase a Twilio number for each demo. Off by default: every request would otherwise buy a number. When off, the completion email omits the phone row entirely rather than showing a blank.
    - `instructions` string, nullable: Extra steering passed to demo research/generation.
    - `from_display_name` string, nullable: Display name on outbound demo mail.
    - `signature` string, nullable: Plain-text signature appended to demo mail.
    - `reply_to_all` boolean: CC everyone else on the inbound thread on replies.
    - `ignore_senders` string[]: Addresses or bare domains that may never trigger a demo build from this address. For senders the auto-generated header guard misses — another demo mailer, a helpdesk autoresponder — which would otherwise read the company URL out of our own reply and loop.
