# Sync Custom Table Embeddings

`POST /core/custom-data/tables/{name}/embeddings/sync`

Start embedding this table's pending rows now.

Writes already start the job, and an hourly sweep catches any start that
Temporal missed. This is for when a table shows pending rows and the caller
does not want to wait for the sweep. Unlike the write path, a failure to
start is reported, because starting is the whole request.
