# Verify a capability snapshot

`POST /api/capability/verify`

## Request

Recomputes the digest from the submitted claims, so inflating `serviceableNow` to the full policy list — the tempting lie — invalidates it. Also reports `ageMinutes` and warns when a snapshot is stale: still authentic, but no longer a description of the present.
