# Invoke a tool by name

`POST /tools/{tool}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://anthra.com/api/v1`

Generic gateway to any capability in the catalog (`GET /tools`). The request body is the tool's arguments (validated against its `inputSchema`). The caller must carry the tool's declared scope. Returns `{ data: … }` with the tool's structured result.

OK — tool result in `data`.

## Other responses

- `400`: Tool error or invalid arguments.
- `404`: Unknown tool.
