# Render manuscript to EPUB / DOCX / PDF

`POST /books/{bookId}/produce`

## Request

EPUB / DOCX render synchronously and stream the file back. PDF dispatches to a workflow and returns `{ jobId }` — poll `/production-jobs/{jobId}` until status="ready".

EPUB or DOCX bytes

## Other responses

- `202`: PDF job dispatched — poll the jobId
