# Trigger Investigation

`POST /api/v1/sdk/alerts/investigations`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:8000`

Trigger an investigation for an alert.

Returns immediately with investigation ID. Poll GET /investigations/{id}
for results. Investigation runs asynchronously (typically completes in <30s).
