# Start Asset Discovery

`POST /api/v1/assets/{asset_id}/schema-discovery`

Start asset discovery job for an asset (TECH-194 migrated endpoint).

This endpoint delegates to the distributed jobs system.
For direct workflow submission, use POST /jobs/workflows with workflow_name=WORKFLOW_ASSET_DISCOVERY.

Args:
    asset_id: Asset ID (UUID string) to discover schema for
    ctx: Application context with user and session
    workflow_service: Workflow service instance

Returns:
    Job submission response with job_id
