# Delete an anonymous sync list.

`DELETE /accounts`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Deletes the anonymous account and all server sightings after explicit confirmation. This code cannot delete an email-linked account. The browser clears its local list after a successful response.

Completed without a response body.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid input.
- `401`: Missing or unknown sync code.
- `404`: Not found.
- `429`: Rate limited.
- `500`: Unexpected error.
