# Share a clip via email

`POST /cameras/{camera_id}/clips/{clip_id}/share/`

## Request

    - Scopes: `recording_clips_share`
  - API key in header `Authorization`

Sends an email with a link to the clip to the given address. The link contains the clip's `sharing_token`, so the recipient does not need an Angelcam account. The link stays valid until the token is revoked via [`revoke-access`](#tag/clip/POST/cameras/{camera_id}/clips/{clip_id}/revoke-access/) or the clip is deleted — it has no expiration of its own.

Empty response.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid authorization.
- `403`: Missing permission.
- `404`: The specified resource was not found
