# Complete a history import

`POST /imports/{importId}/complete`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.ando.so/v1`
- URL: `https://api.ando.so/v1/imports/{importId}/complete`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

Marks the import complete. Starting the same import again reopens it, e.g. to bring over messages sent since.

## Path parameters

- `importId` string, required: Import identifier.

## Response `200`

The completed import and its cumulative counts.

- HistoryImportCompleteResponse: History import completion response.
  - `data` HistoryImportCompleteResult, required: A completed import and the distinct records it has imported across all requests.
    - `counts` object, required: Distinct records imported across all requests; re-sent records are not counted twice.
      - `conversations` integer, required: Conversations.
      - `members` integer, required: Members.
      - `messages` integer, required: Messages.
      - `reactions` integer, required: Reactions.
    - `import_id` string, required: Import identifier.
    - `status` 'open' | 'completed', required: Import status.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request.
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `403`: Forbidden.
- `404`: Not found.
- `409`: Conflict.
- `429`: Rate limit or quota exceeded.
- `500`: Internal server error.
