# Update workspace settings.

`PATCH /v1/workspace`

## Request

Partial update of workspace-level settings. Currently supports freshness_threshold_days (AC-FRESH-1.6): controls how many days before a document is considered stale in query responses. Valid range: 1..365. Pass null to reset to platform default (90 days). RLS-enforced — only affects the authenticated tenant. Requires 'admin' scope.

## Request body

- WorkspaceSettingsPatch: Request body for PATCH /v1/workspace. Partial update — only fields present in the request body are updated. Currently supports freshness_threshold_days (AC-FRESH-1.6).
  - `freshness_threshold_days` integer, nullable: Workspace freshness threshold in days. Documents loaded more than this many days ago are marked stale in query responses. Valid range: 1..365. Pass null to reset to platform default (90 days).

## Response `200`

Updated workspace settings.

- WorkspaceSettingsResponse: Response for PATCH /v1/workspace. Returns the persisted settings after update.
  - `freshness_threshold_days` integer, required: Effective workspace freshness threshold in days (platform default 90 when tenant value is NULL).

## Other responses

- `403`: Insufficient scope — requires 'admin'.
- `422`: Request body invalid (e.g. freshness_threshold_days out of range).
