# Return full detail for a single entity node.

`GET /v1/graph/nodes/{node_id}`

## Request

Returns description, raw entity_type, and source documents for the given entity node within the authenticated workspace.

**ADR-056:** this is the click-time detail endpoint. The list endpoint ``GET /v1/graph`` returns lightweight ``GraphNode`` without description to avoid payload bloat.

**Isolation:** 404 is returned uniformly when node_id exists in another tenant's workspace (no information leakage).

**Sources:** provenance resolved via ``lightrag_vdb_entity_*`` (chunk_ids) → ``lightrag_doc_chunks`` (full_doc_id). ``lightrag_graph_nodes.source_chunk_ids`` is not used — LightRAG 1.5.x does not populate it during extraction. Empty list when provenance is unavailable.

Successful Response

- GraphNodeDetail: Full detail for a single entity node — GET /v1/graph/nodes/{id}. Returned by the click-time detail endpoint (ADR-056). List endpoint (GET /v1/graph) returns lightweight GraphNode instead. ``id`` -- stable node_id (matches GraphNode.id in list). ``label`` -- human-readable name (same as id in LightRAG storage). ``type`` -- canonical display type (mapped via _entity_type_to_graph_type). ``entity_type_raw`` -- raw entity_type string as stored (e.g. "ARTIFACT", "person"). None when the node was created without a type. ``description`` -- full description text as stored in lightrag_graph_nodes. May contain multiple fragments joined by the LightRAG GRAPH_FIELD_SEP separator. None when not yet extracted. ``sources`` -- list of documents that contributed to this entity. Empty when source_chunk_ids is empty or chunks lack a doc.
  - `id` string, required: Stable entity identifier (node_id).
  - `label` string, required: Human-readable entity name.
  - `type` string, required: Canonical entity type. One of: Person, Organization, Concept, Method, Artifact, Location, Creature, Other.
  - `entity_type_raw` string, nullable: Raw entity_type value as stored (e.g. 'ARTIFACT'). None when absent.
  - `description` string, nullable: Full entity description from lightrag_graph_nodes. None when the node has no extracted description.
  - `sources` GraphSourceDoc[]: Documents that contributed to this entity (via source_chunk_ids). Empty list when provenance is unavailable.
    - `doc_id` string, required: Document UUID (full_doc_id from lightrag_doc_chunks).
    - `filename` string, required: Human-readable file name (file_path from lightrag_doc_chunks).
