# Search entities by label substring.

`GET /v1/graph/entities/search`

Case-insensitive ILIKE search on entity labels (node_ids) in the current tenant workspace.

**Relevance note:** uses ILIKE '%q%' without ranking. W3+: replace with pg_trgm similarity index.

## Query parameters

- `q` string, required: Search query string.
- `limit` integer: Maximum number of results.

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- EntitySearchResponse: 200 response for GET /v1/graph/entities/search.
  - `entities` EntityRef[], required: Matched entity references, ordered by node_id.
    - `id` string, required: Stable entity identifier (node_id in graph storage).
    - `label` string, required: Human-readable entity label.
    - `type` string, nullable: Entity sub-type (may be absent).
    - `weight` number, nullable: Degree weight (may be absent).
  - `query` string, required: The search query string that was used.
  - `total` integer, required: Total number of matched entities.
