# Delete Task (Legacy)

`DELETE /v1/task/{taskId}`

Soft deletes a task and all its versions. The task will no longer be accessible
but the data is preserved for potential recovery.

## Path parameters

- `taskId` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

Task deleted successfully

- DeleteTaskResponse
  - `data` object
    - `success` boolean, required — Whether the deletion was successful
    - `message` string, required — Deletion result message

## Other responses

- `404` — Task not found
- `500` — Failed to delete task
