# Get Task Metadata (Legacy)

`GET /v1/task/{taskId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.anchorbrowser.io`
- URL: `https://api.anchorbrowser.io/v1/task/{taskId}`
- Auth: API key in header `anchor-api-key`

Retrieves task metadata without the code content. Useful for getting task information
without downloading the full task code.

## Path parameters

- `taskId` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

Task metadata retrieved successfully

- TaskMetadataResponse
  - `data` TaskMetadata
    - `id` string, uuid, required: Unique identifier for the task
    - `name` string, required: Task name
    - `teamId` string, uuid, required: Team identifier that owns this task
    - `description` string: Optional description of the task
    - `latest` string, required: Latest version identifier
    - `deleted` boolean, required: Whether the task is soft deleted
    - `createdAt` string, date-time, required: Task creation timestamp
    - `updatedAt` string, date-time, required: Task last update timestamp

## Other responses

- `404`: Task not found
- `500`: Failed to retrieve task
