# Respond to Human Intervention

`POST /v1/sessions/{session_id}/agent/respond-to-human-intervention`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.anchorbrowser.io`
- URL: `https://api.anchorbrowser.io/v1/sessions/{session_id}/agent/respond-to-human-intervention`
- Auth: API key in header `anchor-api-key`

Sends a response to a pending human-in-the-loop (HITL) request for the specified
session. Resolving a request unblocks the agent and emits an `intervention.resolved`
webhook event when `requestId` is provided.

## Path parameters

- `session_id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- HumanInterventionResponseRequest
  - `requestId` string: ID of the intervention request to respond to. If omitted, the most recent pending request for the session is used.
  - `response` union, required: Response payload. For `text` input type, pass a string. For `confirm`, pass a boolean or confirmation string. For `fields`, pass an object keyed by field name.

## Response `200`

Human intervention response submitted successfully

  - `data` object, required
    - `status` string, required: Operation status (e.g. `success`).
    - `message` string: Human-readable confirmation from the browser agent.

## Other responses

- `400`: Session is not running
- `404`: Session not found
- `500`: Failed to respond to human intervention
