# Get Identity

`GET /v1/identities/{identityId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.anchorbrowser.io`

- Auth: API key in header `anchor-api-key`

Retrieves details of a specific identity by its ID.

## Path parameters

- `identityId` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

Identity details retrieved successfully

- GetIdentityResponse
  - `id` string, uuid: Unique identifier for the identity
  - `name` string: Name of the identity
  - `source` string: Source URL for the identity
  - `status` 'pending' | 'validated' | 'failed': Status of the identity
  - `metadata` object: Metadata associated with the identity
  - `created_at` string, date-time: Timestamp when the identity was created
  - `updated_at` string, date-time: Timestamp when the identity was last updated

## Other responses

- `404`: Identity not found
- `500`: Failed to get identity
