# Show the machine behind a pairing code (verified session)

`POST /api/v1/hosts/pairings/lookup`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://amplerun-api.spiry.org`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns the installer's report for a pending, unexpired code. Same session and guessing rules as approve; a wrong code counts as a miss (10 per hour per account and per address).

## Other responses

- `default`: Error envelope. 401 unauthenticated, 403/404 forbidden, 409 conflict, 422 invalid input, 429 rate limited (code UNAVAILABLE, retryable:true, no Retry-After header), 503 unavailable money/provider state with retryable:true.
