# Poll a QuickConnect pairing request

`POST /quickconnect/status`

No authentication: the caller has no session until this comes back `authorized: true`, at which point the response also carries a minted session, the same shape `handshake` returns.

- `secret` string

## Request body

- QuickconnectStatusRequest
  - `secret` string, required — The value `/quickconnect/initiate` returned.

## Response `200`

Pairing status, with a session once authorized

- QuickConnectStatusResponse — `authorized` is always returned. Once the code is approved it is `true` and every handshake field (`auth`, `session_expire`, server counts, ...) is added alongside it.
  - `authorized` boolean, required — True once the code has been approved and this response carries a session.
