# Update Workspace Agent

`PATCH /api/platform/v1/agents/{id}`

## Request

Revise a tenant-authored agent's name, description, or prompt in place, keeping its slug stable. Call when refining how a saved agent behaves after seeing its output. Amdahl library agents are code-defined and immutable, so edits targeting one are refused with a locked error rather than silently ignored.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required: UUID or slug of the agent to patch.

## Request body

- object
  - `name` string: New display name.
  - `description` string: New directory blurb.
  - `prompt` string: New prompt body.
  - `tool_blocklist` string[]: Operation ids to subtract from this agent tool kit at run time (all kit tools are on by default; empty list = no restriction). Runner-inline tools are refused.
