# US Business Entity Search: Colorado, Connecticut, New York

`GET /v1/us-business-entities`

## Request

Look up US companies in official state business registers (Colorado, Connecticut, New York) or list newly formed entities by date: legal name, entity type, status, formation date, state of formation and city, with the source dataset. Official open data, one schema. Company level only: no registered agents, owners, officers, e-mail addresses or street addresses; trade names and sole proprietorships are excluded.

## Query parameters

- `states` string[]: States to search: CO, CT, NY. Default: all three.
- `name` string: Part of the legal name (at least 3 characters).
- `status` string: Filter by status (for example Active, Good Standing, Delinquent). New York lists active entities only.
- `entityType` string: Filter by entity type text (for example LLC, Corporation, DLLC).
- `formedSince` string: Only entities formed or registered on or after this date (YYYY-MM-DD). Use the date of your last run for new formations.
- `formedUntil` string: Only entities formed or registered on or before this date.
- `limit` integer: Maximum entities per state. Each returned entity is one billable result.
- `free` '1'

## Response `200`

Result (JSON). Every result names its source and the time it was read.

- `400`: Invalid input; not charged.
- `402`: Payment required: 0.02 USD in USDC (x402 v2).
