# IBAN Validator: Checksum, Length and Country Check

`GET /v1/iban-validate`

## Request

Validate an IBAN offline: ISO 13616 checksum (mod 97), registered length for the country, and a normalised and grouped format. Does not check that the account exists.

## Query parameters

- `iban` string, required: IBAN, spaces allowed.
- `free` '1'

## Response `200`

Result (JSON). Every result names its source and the time it was read.

- `400`: Invalid input; not charged.
- `402`: Payment required: 0.003 USD in USDC (x402 v2).
