# Appends a timestamped note to a work order.

`POST /work-orders/{id}/notes`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.alto.zoopladev.co.uk`
- URL: `https://api.alto.zoopladev.co.uk/work-orders/{id}/notes`
- Auth: `appAuth` (a scheme the document does not define)

Creates a work order note linked to the work order (and property / supplier / tenancy when present).
Does not modify the legacy free-text `Notes` on the work order.

  - `text` string, required: The free-text note body.

## Response `201`

Note created

- AltoPropertyManagementApiModelsResponsesWorkOrderNote: A timestamped note attached to a work order.
  - `id` string, nullable: The unique identifier of the note.
  - `workOrderId` string, nullable: The unique identifier of the work order this note belongs to.
  - `text` string, nullable: The note body text.
  - `createdDate` string, date-time: When the note was created.

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation errors
- `404`: Work Order not found
