# Get Recent Events

`GET /v1/events/recent`

## Request

Return recent events for seeding the Live Feed.

No authentication required — all events are public. Returns events in
the same shape as the WebSocket event models.

``offset`` powers the frontend's "Load more" pagination. Without it every
Load More click returned the same first ``limit`` events, and the frontend
appended them to existing state — producing duplicate React keys for every
event already on screen.
