# Delete Own Account

`DELETE /api/user/delete-account`

## Request

Delete the signed-in member's account and personal data (utils/account_deletion.py).

Optional JSON body {"apple_authorization_code": "..."}: a fresh Sign in with Apple code from the app, used to
revoke the account's Apple tokens (utils/apple_signin.py). Every token the account holds stops working.
The website sends {"password": "...", "confirm_deletion": true}: a password is checked as sign-in checks it when
the account has one. The iPhone app sends none, and Apple and Google accounts have none: both delete as before.
