# Submit Publisher Pick

`POST /api/publisher/submit-pick`

## Request

Submit a trading signal (stock pick) with validation.

The price target must be above the current market price for buy signals
and below it for short signals. The ticker is validated against Tiingo.
Entry price is captured automatically: immediately if market is open,
or at next market open if submitted after hours.

## Request body

- object
  - `ticker` string, required: Stock ticker symbol (e.g. AAPL, NVDA)
  - `action` 'buy' | 'short', required: Signal direction
  - `price_target` number: Profit target price. Must be ABOVE current price for buy, BELOW for short.
  - `stop_loss` number: Stop loss price. Must be BELOW current price for buy, ABOVE for short.
  - `position_size` number: Portfolio allocation percentage (0.1-100%). Default: 1.0
  - `confidence` integer: Conviction level 1-10 (default 5)
  - `time_horizon` 'day' | 'swing' | '1W' | '2W' | '1M' | '3M' | '6M' | '1Y', required: Expected holding period (the apps' short, medium and long also work; anything else is a 422)
  - `reasoning` string, required: Thesis explaining the trade
  - `auto_close_days` integer: Max days before auto-close. Default: 90
  - `order_type` 'market' | 'limit': Order type (default: market)
