# Run Clinical Agent

`POST /agent/run`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.alpha-grid.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.alpha-grid.ai/agent/run`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Trigger the clinical agent workflow for a patient.

Runs the 9-node LangGraph pipeline:
1. Case Ingestion
2. Imaging Perception
3. Cancer Confirmation
4. Staging
5. Trajectory Analysis
6. Risk Stratification
7. Agentic RAG (evidence synthesis)
8. Report Generation
9. Feedback Loop

Returns a trace_id for tracking the workflow.

## Request body

- AgentRunRequest: Request to trigger clinical agent workflow.
  - `patient_id` integer, required: Patient ID to analyze
  - `run_async` boolean: Run asynchronously (recommended for production)
  - `include_rag` boolean: Include evidence gathering from external sources
  - `skip_nodes` string[], nullable: Nodes to skip (e.g., ['imaging_perception'] if no imaging)

## Response `200`

- AgentRunResponse: Response from agent run endpoint.
  - `trace_id` string, required
  - `patient_id` integer, required
  - `status` string, required

  - `started_at` string, required
