# Retrieve Blocked Symbols

`GET /v1/blocked-symbols`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://ext-api.giftcity.sandbox.in.alpaca.markets`
- URL: `https://ext-api.giftcity.sandbox.in.alpaca.markets/v1/blocked-symbols`
- Auth: none declared

Returns the list of symbols that are blocked from **buy** orders for India / GIFT City accounts. Sell orders for these symbols are still permitted. Requires a customer `Authorization: Bearer` token.

The returned `blocked_symbols` array is sorted alphabetically and de-duplicated.

The list of symbols blocked from buy orders.

## Other responses

- `401`: The request is not authorized. Returned when the `Authorization: Bearer` token is missing, malformed, or invalid.
- `503`: The service is temporarily unavailable. Returned when the request cannot be served due to a transient server-side condition.
