# Download One or More Documents

`GET /documents/download`

## Request

Download one or more documents by token. Requires the `READ_DOCUMENTS` permission. A single document is returned as `application/octet-stream`; multiple documents are returned as a `application/zip` archive named `documents.zip`.

## Query parameters

- `document_tokens` string, required

## Response `200`

The requested document(s) as a file stream

## Other responses

- `404`: No documents ready for download
