# Stop Conversation

`POST /api/conversations/{conversation_id}/stop`

Stop an agent loop for a conversation.

This endpoint calls the conversation_manager's close_session method
to stop a conversation.

## Path parameters

- `conversation_id` string, required

## Response `200`

  - `status` string, required
  - `conversation_id` string, required
  - `message` string, nullable
  - `conversation_status` 'STARTING' | 'RUNNING' | 'STOPPED'
