# Retrieve a payment leg

`GET /v1/legs/{legId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.sandbox.alfredpay.io`
- URL: `https://api.sandbox.alfredpay.io/v1/legs/{legId}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `api-key` and API key in header `api-secret`

Returns one leg with its current `leg_status` and `settlement_status`, its provider reference, and the `destination_control_type` that drives Travel Rule, KYT and ownership checks.
