# Delete Alert

`DELETE /api/v1/alerts/{alert_id}`

Delete an alert.

Soft-deletes the alert: the row remains in the database with
`deleted_at` set and `is_active=False` (so the polling scheduler and
user-facing reads skip it). Aggregate counters and AlertMatch history
are preserved for the monthly value digest. The mobile API surface
is unchanged — 204 on success, 404 if not found or already deleted.
