# Delete Skill Endpoint

`DELETE /v1/skills/{skill_id}`

Delete a skill and cascade to all versions and files.

## Path parameters

- `skill_id` string, required

## Response `204`

The skill and all its versions and files were deleted. No content is returned.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Not Found
- `413`: Content Too Large
- `422`: Validation errors are returned as 400, not 422. This entry exists because FastAPI generates it automatically.
- `425`: Too Early
- `500`: Internal Server Error
- `501`: Not Implemented
- `502`: Bad Gateway
- `504`: Gateway Timeout
