# Update a custom field.

`POST /account-custom-field-update`

## Request body

- AccountCustomFieldUpdate: accountCustomFieldUpdate is a command to update an account custom field
  - `id` integer, required: The custom field id
  - `json` boolean: Set output format to JSON
  - `name` string: The new name of the custom field
  - `required` boolean: Specify whether the custom field is mandatory
  - `token` string: Authentication token (see `/auth` and `/configure`)
  - `uid-token` string: The universal identity token, Required only for universal_identity authentication

## Response `200`

accountCustomFieldUpdateResponse wraps response body.
