# Update/create several measurement families

`PATCH /api/rest/v1/measurement-families`

## Request

This endpoint allows you to update and/or create several measurement families at once.

## Request body

- object[]
  - `code` string, required: Measurement family code
  - `labels` object: Measurement family labels for each locale
    - `localeCode` string: Measurement family label for the locale `localeCode`
  - `standard_unit_code` string, required: Unit code used as the standard unit for this measurement family
  - `units` object, required: Measurement units for this family with their conversion operations. More details <a href='/concepts/target-market-settings.html#focus-on-the-units'>here</a>.
    - `unitCode` object
      - `code` string: Measurement unit code. More details <a href='/concepts/target-market-settings.html#focus-on-the-units'>here</a>.
      - `labels` object: Unit labels for each locale. More details <a href='/concepts/target-market-settings.html#focus-on-the-units'>here</a>.
        - `localeCode` string: Unit label for the locale `localeCode`
      - `convert_from_standard` object[]: Calculation to convert the unit from the standard unit. More details <a href='/concepts/target-market-settings.html#focus-on-the-units'>here</a>.
        - `operator` 'mul' | 'div' | 'add' | 'sub': Operator for a conversion operation to convert the unit in the standard unit
        - `value` string: Value for a conversion operation to convert the unit in the standard unit
      - `symbol` string: Measurement unit symbol. More details <a href='/concepts/target-market-settings.html#focus-on-the-units'>here</a>.
