# Join the organization of an invitation with the role and project access it grants

`POST /v1/invitations/accept`

## Request body

    - `token` string, required: The token from the invitation link.
    - `confirmEmailMismatch` boolean: Join even though the invitation was sent to an address that is not the caller's verified email.

## Response `200`

The organization the caller now belongs to

    - `slug` string, required
    - `type` 'personal' | 'team', required
    - `role` 'owner' | 'admin' | 'member' | 'billing' | 'viewer', required: The caller's role in the organization.
    - `isActive` boolean, required: Whether this request ran in this organization.
    - `hasPaymentMethod` boolean, nullable, required: Whether the organization has a payment method saved, its owner's own cards for a personal organization. Null for an organization this request did not run in.
    - `createdAt` string, date-time, required

## Other responses

- `400`: The token is not an invitation token
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Requested with an API key instead of a signed-in session (`session_required`)
- `404`: No invitation has this token, or its organization was deleted
- `409`: The invitation was sent to an address the caller has not verified and they did not confirm (`invitation_email_mismatch`), someone else accepted it or the caller accepted it and has since left (`invitation_already_accepted`), or the caller already belongs to the organization and was not the verified invitee (`already_member`)
- `410`: The invitation expired (`invitation_expired`) or was revoked (`invitation_revoked`)
