# Remove user from the project

`DELETE /project/{project}/user/{user_email}`

The API endpoint /v1/project/{project}/user/{user\_email} is deprecated. Use https://api.aiven.io/v1/organization/{organization\_id}/permissions/project/{project\_id} instead. It will be removed on 2026-07-21.
