# Soft-delete a custom plugin and all its non-deleted file versions

`DELETE /organization/{organization_id}/kafka-connect/custom-plugins/{plugin_name}`

All file versions for the plugin must have no active deployments across Kafka Connect services in the organization before deletion is allowed.

## Path parameters

- `organization_id` string, required
- `plugin_name` string, required

## Response `204`

Soft-delete a custom plugin and all its non-deleted file versions

- `404` — Resource not found
- `409` — Request conflict
