# Delete a defined batch

`DELETE /v2/batches/{batchId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.aiva.works` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://app.aiva.works/v2/batches/{batchId}`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-KEY`

Deletes a defined batch.

## Path parameters

- `batchId` string, guid, required

## Response `204`

The batch was deleted, or no such batch exists in this tenant

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: User does not have permission to access batches
- `500`: Server Error
