# Load a skill's prose instructions

`GET /skills/{slug}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://aistoryhub.co/api/v1`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Fails if the skill isn't installed on this connection.

## Path parameters

- `slug` string, required

## Response `200`

The skill's full instructions.

- Skill
  - `slug` string
  - `name` string
  - `description` string
  - `installed` boolean
  - `instructions` string: Present on the single-skill GET; omitted from the catalog list.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing, malformed, invalid, revoked, or expired token.
- `403`: The token lacks the scope this endpoint requires.
- `404`: The resource does not exist or you do not own it.
- `429`: Too many requests. Retry after the delay in the `Retry-After` header.
