# Delete a list

`DELETE /api/lists/{list_name}`

## Request

Delete a static list.

## Path parameters

- `list_name` string, required

## Response `204`

An API request was successful, but there is no response body to return.

## Other responses

- `401`: Authentication information (the app key and secret or bearer token) was either incorrect or missing.
- `403`: You cannot delete or modify lists with a `ua_` prefixed `name`.
- `404`: The requested resource doesn't exist.
