# Create onboarding account (public)

`POST /onboarding/account`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:8486`
- URL: `http://localhost:8486/onboarding/account`
- Auth: API key in header `x-auth-token`

Step 1: email + password. Creates Auth0 user and draft registration immediately; password is stored only in the IdP. Email verification follows.

  - `invitationToken` string

## Response `201`

Accepted (verification or account instructions emailed). Response is identical for new and existing emails.
