# Cancel flight authorization by ID

`POST /flight-auths/{id}/cancel`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:8486`
- URL: `http://localhost:8486/flight-auths/{id}/cancel`
- Auth: API key in header `x-auth-token`

Cancels a flight authorization by its UUID ID, marking it as cancelled by the current user with an optional reason

## Path parameters

- `id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- CancelFlightAuthRequestDTO: Cancellation request data
  - `reasonDescription` string: Optional detailed description of the cancellation reason

## Response `200`

Flight authorization cancelled successfully

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid UUID format or request body
- `401`: Authentication required
- `403`: Authorization denied
- `404`: Flight authorization not found
- `422`: Validation error - Only PROPOSED or ACCEPTED status flight authorizations can be cancelled
