# Edit map visualisation

`PUT /api/v1/geoaware/admin/map-visualisations`

## Request

Updates an existing map visualisation

## Request body

- UpdateMapVisualisationRequestDTO: Update map visualisation request
  - `id` integer, required: Map visualisation ID
  - `name` string: Map visualisation name
  - `defaultProperties` FeatureTypeVisualisationPropertiesDTO: Feature type visualisation properties
    - `fillColor` string: Fill color in hex format (with or without alpha)
  - `featureTypeVisualisations` FeatureTypeVisualisationDTO[]: Feature type specific visualisations
    - `featureType` FeatureTypeDTO, required: Feature type information
      - `id` string: Feature type ID
      - `name` string: Feature type name
    - `properties` FeatureTypeVisualisationPropertiesDTO: Feature type visualisation properties
      - `fillColor` string: Fill color in hex format (with or without alpha)
