# Mark License As Internal

`POST /licenses/markInternal`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.aikido.dev/api/public/v1`
- URL: `https://app.aikido.dev/api/public/v1/licenses/markInternal`
- Auth: OAuth 2
  - Client credentials
  - Token URL: `https://app.aikido.io/api/oauth/token` scopes: `licenses:write`

Mark licenses for a package as internally developed. Aikido will no longer show these licenses as a risk.

## Request body

- object
  - `package_name` string, required: The name of the package of which the licenses should be marked as internal.
  - `language` string, required: The language related to the package of which the licenses should be marked as internal. This is 'os' for packages related to images.
  - `org_name` string: Name of the organisation who published the packages. Used as an additional identifier for Java packages only.

## Response `200`

The licenses have successfully been marked as internal for the package

- object
  - `success` integer: The integer 1 indicating success
  - `marked_licenses_amount` integer: An integer indicating the amount of licenses that are marked as internal

## Other responses

- `400`: One or more of the provided fields are invalid, or more than 1000 matching licenses would be updated.
- `404`: No licenses found that match the provided criteria.
