# Add note to issue group

`POST /issues/groups/{issue_group_id}/notes`

Add note to issue group

## Path parameters

- `issue_group_id` integer, required

## Request body

- object
  - `note` string, required: The content of the note
  - `cve_id` string: Optional parameter to limit the scope of the note to a CVE. 'null' by default

## Response `200`

The note has been successfully created

- object
  - `note_id` integer: the ID of the newly created note

## Other responses

- `400`: One or more of the provided fields are invalid.
